Great clothesline....and they lowered the price!

I have had this line installed for a month and no sign of sagging even though I have it stretched fairly taught and have hung some heavy loads on it. For example, I usually hang 4 pairs of pants and about 5 tee shirts on each line. I will be on the lookout for any signs of rust or deterioration due to other reviewers, but after a month I am fairly satisfied it will do the job. I will update if I have new observations as time goes on. I paid $4.37 at the store, but the online price today is just over $3.00. Even if I changed it once a year this would be reasonable compared to the fabric line which leaves whiter dust on clothes and is in same price range. I did buy turnbuckles and wire clamps to keep it taught. NOT piano wire tight, but to the point it doesn't sag. The hardware can be used for years even if wire is change. Highly recommend. I got rid of my electric clothes drier long ago. The old fashioned clothesline save me a ton on energy and always gives me fresh smelling clothes that feel good. I hang out a load almost every day in the hot weather since I wash my sweaty clothes daily. I even have some of this line strung on my porch for the rainy days so I can hang clothes in any weather here in Florida. If you want to cut down on kilowatt hours and discover the joy of hanging clothes out in the fresh air you should try this brand of clothesline. I am a long time advocate of this ancient practice and give this review solely for your benefit. It may sound like I work for the company, but I just want to help others find a good way to get into this method of energy savings and joyful house chores.

Not as good

Not as good as the heavier gauge I got from the store, but it'll do. I bought the last heavy one the store had in stock, and after 2 months it had still not been restocked. So...I bought this online. The local store has been very poor about restocking when an item runs out.

Cheap, weak garbage.

It is no wonder they do not state the lb strength of this line. We strung up two lines, hung two blankets and some shirts and pants on them and the line stretched so bad that the wire strands inside the green plastic sheathing broke. This stuff is useless unless you only hang things like shirts, shorts, and socks.
