For kittens who are used to sharing but shouldn't!

Just what we needed for the kittens! One of them is on a special diet for sensitive digestion, and the other eats food his brother can't digest, so they can't eat the same food. THe Surefeeed pet bowl prevents any overlap in meals from one cat to another. Purrfect! Only problem is one gets very stressed because even on the high door speed its too slow--he really panics until it opens. We leave it open until he starts eating, then press the button so it will close when he's left the bowl alone.

Innovative product

Purchased two of these as one of our cats was diagnosed with kidney disease and it was the best way we would come up with to separate their foods. Using microchip technology to open the cover has been working great. I almost gave it 4 stars as there was a hiccup in getting both of them through the shipper but after a delay we did finally get both.

Worked as we hoped it would

Prompt delivery of product (arrived at least 3 days earlier than expected). Easy set up. We ordered this so our diabetic cat could no longer get into our other cats' food. We set it up so our other 2 cats could both access their dry food (higher carbs that our diabetic cat can't have). We started in training mode, but they quickly learned and were fully using it within 4 days. It did as we hoped. Only issue is cats can get in on the side. There is a pricey additional piece that can be purchased to prevent this. I chose an inexpensive DIY option that worked.
