Neutralizes odors

This cleanser is such a steal. You get three times as much product for the same price as the name brands. I was a little skeptical at first because the tablets are only about the size of a quarter, but they actually smell great—fresh and almost minty. Definitely not a strong scent though, more of a faint smell. I popped one in on the cleaning cycle and noticed there weren't any suds while it was filling up, but as soon as the agitation started, it really lathered up. My washer had that annoying musty smell, and after the cycle finished, the smell was gone. It didn't leave a heavy perfume scent behind, but it completely neutralized the odor. While I do kind of miss the strong clean scent the expensive brands leave, that usually disappears after one load of laundry anyway. These are way more budget friendly and they definitely get the job done. I will continue to purchase but I will run a name brand tablet occasionally to make sure it's getting clean where I can't see.
