I have not actually taped this down yet...I do expect a little hassle, but my dashboard is completely cracked and broken from being parked 10 years in the Florida sun, and then I had to pull the dash to replace the heater core--it did not come out peacefully. So I bought this to cover it up, and it does as a good a job as I could hope. Looks good, well made, and fits nice.
