Item comes in two packages. It took my husband and I about 3 hours in total to build with breaks in between. The instructions were pretty easy to follow and the pieces all seemed to line up correctly. This is the second large furniture piece from Walmart and I have been throughly impressed both times! My advice is to be patient and follow all the steps!

looks nice. assembly is mostly doable except for one very difficult step where you put the lower and upper parts together; it needs two people who can carry somewhat heavy weights and accurately put them with the little screws matching the holes. it would be better to make it built from the base up. also there are some gaps between the pieces.
