The reviews were right this takes time to put together. But it was not damaged when shipped. Besides the directions could be better. we got it together the drawers slide smoothly. It was a gift we took it over partially assembled and finished it where it was going to stay. On the heavy side and wouldn't want to carry it upstairs in one piece. Grand daughters loved it

assembly took several hours, end product was well worth the price. sturdy and spacious. all peices provided, encased in layers of styrofoam. nothing was broken despite my box having a big gash through the side. came with extra screws/peices and 2 extra bulbs. wiring was easy - click together pieces. instructions were straightforward. used an electric drill on the longer screws to get them started and hand tightened everything with the provided screwdriver as not to strip them. palm and thumb were still red and sore after only hand tightening so I highly recommend a drill or taking breaks/turns with another person if you intend to use only a screwdriver as there are hundreds of screws to put in. overall very happy with my purchase.
