The Wiser Thermostat (Single Stage) is the HVAC management component of the Wiser home management system. The Thermostat (Single Stage) supports the following systems: (1) Single-stage conventional heat/cool, (2) heat pump (two-stage heat/single-stage cool) or (3) dual fuel heat pump (two-stage heat/single-stage cool). This four-event/day, seven-day programmable thermostat allows each day to have its own schedule. Controls and schedules loads including wall outlets and wired appliances. Designed for use in grid energy programs, the Thermostat allows you to opt in and out of your energy service provider's demand response events. With color-coded messaging alerts, it displays energy alerts from your energy service provider. It reduces electricity usage and costs and helps to prevent grid overloads and blackouts while helping to increase power efficiency and network reliability. It also integrates energy use, demand and cost measurements and displays outdoor temperature when paired with Wiser Thermostat Temperature Sensor. The Wiser Thermostat, when paired with other Wiser home management system components, such as Wiser In Home Displays, Wiser Plugs and Wiser Load Control devices, delivers seamless and secure wireless connectivity in one complete home energy management system.
