Beautiful Clock with Beautiful Sounding Chime
I've had this clock for a few months now and I absolutely love it! For starters, it looks beautiful hanging on my wall. The quarterly chimes sound beautiful. To me, they're the best sounding chimes for a battery powered clock. The chime doesn't have the "traditional battery sound chime". That was an important feature for me, when I was shopping for a striking wall clock. The pendulum is gorgeous - the two-tone intricate design adds a "classy touch" to the clock. Sometimes the clock's two-tone shiny face can be a bit more difficult to read the numbers on the clock (in the sunshine glare); it's still obvious what time it is by looking at the hand placement on the clock. It wasn't difficult to set the time on the clock. After reading some of the previous reviews, when I originally set it that night, I was worried the number of strikes may not match the time set on the clock. However, I realized that when I woke up the next morning, it was striking correctly. It's nice that I can adjust the volume of the chime, AND it doesn't strike at all during the night/sleeping hours. Every time I hear it chime, I am so happy with my purchase! :) I definitely recommend this wall clock.

Beautiful clock! Lovely tone!
This clock arrived very quickly and 6 days ahead of schedule! It was easy to put together. The wood and face are very pretty, and the clock is well made. I like the choice of chimes. The quarter hour chime reminds me of my mom's old mantel clock.

I would buy this beautiful pendulum chiming wall clock again
There is nothing that you will not love about this clock. First, it is absolutely exquisite looking. It was very easy to set up. It is perfectly designed. It has two chimes, and a switch to change. You can silence the chimes at night, but I bought this precisely so it would chime at night. It has a volume control for the chimes. Mine is in the kitchen, and set to just barely hear it in the bedroom at the other end of the house. You don't hear it when sleeping, but on waking, you know the time. This clock does not tick, but why do clocks need to tick anyway? We are just conditioned for that. And of course, it keeps perfect time!
