My dog loves this! We use it outside and inside. He lays on it all the time even when it's not hot. So it must be comfortable! the gel inside cools the mat when weight is added to it. My dog is only 6lbs and it works great. He's a puppy and has tried to chew on the edges… no tearing happened. I wouldn't leave it with a heavy chewer though. Ended up recommending this to friends and family with bigger dogs and their pets love it too!
