Assembly nightmare

I bought 2 of these benches. I had hoped bolting and screwing four pieces of metal would be simple. However, trying to get everything to line up was a 2 person job. Even with help getting everything together was a wrestling match. Once assembled it appears to be sturdy and they look good; but what a frustrating experience.
