I appreciate the spike being included as it makes it easier to create the hole to place the food then cover the food pellet with dirt again. It makes feeding the plants super easy. It can be used for both indoor and outdoor potted plants. I have even used it at the base of in ground plants that needed extra food.

What's not to like? The plants are happy. These are easy to work with. Just dig holes around the edge of your plant pot with a pen and pop them in. They may break in half if your soil is compacted and you don't make a hole first.
