Cool! I got these as Door Stoppers - I have a fireplace insert (Buck Stove from the 70's) and these will not fit inside - but they do fit outside the firebox - in the winter they stay on the hearth - in the spring, summer, and fall they will be used to hold the door(s) open - they are really cool!

The andirons were a gift to our children and they were delighted when seeing them. The andirons will be used decoratively only in front of a gas log fireplace.
