Product details
Use TMS Mass Loaded Vinyl to block sound between walls, ceilings, floors, automobiles, machinery, pipes, HAVAC and more. MLV is a high quality vinyl acoustic barrier manufactured in the USA, it is strong and odorless. This Mass Loaded Vinyl Barrier is a one pound barrier, and weighs 1 lb. per square foot. The MLV is applied over the fiberglass installation and beneath the sheetrock. It is an 1/8 of an inch thick and has an STC rating of 27 when hanging by itself. Color is black. Thickness - 0.125" Tensile Strength - 1350 kPa min Tear Strength - 4500/m (26 psi).
