This product should not be installed on textured surfaces, plaster, non-stick paint, existing wallpaper, unclean surfaces, unpainted drywall, or outdoor surfaces. Newly painted surfaces should be left to fully cure for 4 weeks before application. Wipe down the surface with a damp cloth prior to installation and allow to fully dry

Textured surfaces of any kind should be avoided with NextWall peel and stick wallpaper (including popcorn, sand swirl, knockdown, etc.).
Do apply to smooth surfaces.
