Great Fit

The tailgate molding fit perfectly. And it was a breeze to install. Just pop out the two long wire hinges and use a needle nose pliers to unhook the two springs and the old molding comes right off. I laid the old and new moldings side by side and there was no difference between them. So I install the two small springs on the molding, slid the long wire hinges into place, and used the needle nose pliers to lift the springs up onto the molding. That's it. Took me longer to find my needle nose pliers than to do the complete job. I forgot to mention that you want the step pulled out of the tailgate and down. Now with the tail gate closed it looks like original equipment on my super duty.

Not a exact match in overall size( factory has a slight taper to the edges) but it matches in all the areas where the long rod inserts. Opens easily. The small springs are not as hardened and tend to bend when attached. Cost was 1/3 of online dealership. Better than I expected and quite usable

Satisfied customer rick

I could not tell a difference in the part. I was able to figure out how to install it quickly, but a simple instruction sheet would be good. I will buy this again if i ever need it.
