A mild shampoo is not just for babies. Adults can benefit from a shampoo that cleanses hair and scalp gently. Also, it is nice to switch between a regular/adult shampoo and this shampoo because Johnson's Baby Shampoo seems to add additional moisture to alleviate the sometimes drying effect of regular adult shampoos.
