Because raw materials are ordered in mill-runs and not ordered from a mill's regular inventory we are not constrained to designing from stock wire sizes. ils are designed and manufactured to retain their rate and free length for several seasons. A properly designed and manufactured spring will not lose free length under normal racing applications.
Optimum Body Diameter (OBD) ils feature a unique design concept that adjusts the body diameter of the spring relative to the end coils. The OBD design enables to take full advantage of its ultra-high tensile material by optimizing the applied stress through adjusting the spring's body diameter.
