I highly UNrecommend this case for the z fold 7. 1. The case is a strange design that's hard to describe. It's all one piece, rather than the usual 2 pieces that cover each side. It's designed such that the one piece fits on the back where the camera lens are, and the sides are twice the normal length so that the top or front of the phone, when closed, is the protected by the extra length. I'd need a diagram to properly explain. 2. By designing it that strange way, when you close the phone, it is very difficult to open. You have to put your fingernail in the specific place where there is leverage to pull the two sides apart. It's unpleasant, unwieldy, and I was concerned that my fingernail pressure would scratch the phone - each time I had to open it. 3. Because of the overhang of the case design - and this is the other key misfire design - it eliminates the swiping gestures that this phone uses, because you can't swipe up from the bottom. The high side of the case prohibits the gesture. You cannot swipe up from below the bottom of the screen upward. It's not possible because of the case. And my gestures settings included swiping up for various actions. 3. The phone is slippery. That's the downside of any of the clear, slippery cases, not just this one. But I lost hold of the phone the first time I went out. Fortunately, it flew into the cart I was using at Costco, so didn't damage the phone. But I would forewarn anyone about the slippery texture. 4. The fingerprint opening on the side is impared by its small size, and difficult to access. You have to positive your thumb in a particularly way, hard to do easily. 5. The only positive is that the case is clear and attractive. In short, do not consider this phone if you plan to use the z fold 7 features.
