NRYDEPET Hands-Free Dog Hair Dryer with Table Clamp – Low Noise Pet Grooming Dryer, Adjustable Heat & Speed, Wearable or Desktop Use(Green)

I was excited to find this compact, hands-free dryer after seeing the same kind (different brand) used by my groomer. Although this dryer looks and feels identical in the hand, it does not perform nearly as well. Unlike the one at my groomer, the fan on this dryer makes a very high pitched noise which scares my dog. We have a long haired Goldendoodle and her feet are a soggy mess whenever she comes in from the rain or snow. We've been using a human hairdryer and it works well, but I thought the task would go faster with a hands-free dryer. I specifically chose this one because it came with a table mount, but unfortunately, the clamp opens to a max of 1-1/16 inch so you can't attach it to thicker tables. I planned to attach it to the leg of the chair we keep at our patio door, but the chair leg is 1-1/2" so the mount is useless to us. It's also important to mention, this dryer does not have a three prong, grounded plug and I am concerned it could pose a fire risk if left plugged in while not in use and having to unplug after each use (multiple times a day when it's rainy or snowy) would be cumbersome.
