I did something I have never done and it worked like a charm. The family wanted smothered chicken and I did not want to do the extensive cooking. So I bought some fried chicken and several jars of Chicken Gravy. I poured all the gravy into a sauce pan and waited for it to boil. Then I took the chicken and put it into the pot until all the pieces were covered. Then I waited for the chicken to boil. I served the chicken with gravy over rice with biscuits and green beans. Talk about your convenience. They family was satisfied and so was I.

Heinz Home style chicken gravy is a great choice for home style gravy and using it with the leftover traditional rotisserie chicken adding Birdseye steamer bag of sweet baby peas and simmer for 3-4 hours and bake some buttermilk biscuits from Pillsbury about 2 hours before dinner time and your set for a great option to offset the hot roast beef pot roast you had Sunday and plan to make hot roast beef open face sandwiches with a side of Birdseye steamer bag of sweet corn.

I really like the chicken gravy. It tastes homemade. It's more versatile than the turkey gravy. It's good on potatoes or on pork chops, it's not expensive either.
