My mother-in-law is difficult to buy for because because she is an amazing human being and no gift is good enough for her in my eyes. Her birthday is coming up. She's one of those people that doesn't like a lot of clutter or knick knacks. I always struggle with what to get her. One thing she loves for sure is Jesus. Anything Bible related or Christian centered she will really love. When I saw this cute jar of Bible scriptures, it looked like it was made for her. When we are down, sad or need a little love, she is the first to come to the rescue with a scripture to calm our hearts. I thought it would be great to return the favor. I love how they are color-coded so she can just grab one to read when she wants. I also love that the jar is not very big so it will not take up a lot of space or clutter her home. She can either display it on her bedside table, in the living room or even stow it away out of sight if she would like. I think this jar of scriptures is simple and pretty enough that I expect to see it out for others to view. I can foresee her offering it up for others to draw from as well. I just absolutely love this idea and it will be my go to gift for my Christian friends and family from now on. I will admit that I was very tempted to keep this. I think I'll buy one for myself as well. Although I don't see it as a current option, I hope that they make some for my teen boys as well in the future.

These were a birthday gift for my mom. She absolutely loves them!! She struggles with depression but has a very deep faith so this was a perfect fit for her! The papers are big and easy to read and the colors are beautiful! The jar is thick and sturdy but easy to open which is great since she has arthritis in her hands. I will be buying more for other family members as they have a few different options to choose from.
