the little knub that keeps the butter from falling through popped off immediately on both of them. the plastic piece inside that assists with pushing the butter down is hard to get out so a new stick may be loaded. the butter doesnt get cut straight across and requires a lot of hand strength making it near impossible for someone with arthritis and or carpal tunnel to use.

easier to use butter dish and butter knife

There is no cover on the bottom and butter is fully exposed. The only thing stopping the butter from falling out is a small prong attached with a drop of glue which came off after making the first slice. I reattached the prong with double-sided tape, and began to make more test slices which were inconsistent shapes and sizes. Glad I bought a 2 pack as I will save the 2nd one as a gag gift.
