No pedal assist from this controller

Unit would not support any pedal assist. I tried 3 different pedal assist sensors that were tested with 2 other controllers, One a KT 35a and one specific G062 22a controller using 3 different displays and all delivered pedal assist. No matter what setting from 1-5 assist levels set on the displays. The controller would not function and no pedal assist was available. Strangely the throttle worked.
