Unveiled in 2012, the HyperChrome collection is Rado's signature timepiece for everyday and all occasions. Inspired by vintage Rado watches, it is as versatile a watch as any watch lover could wish for. This gents' HyperChrome features a 42 mm gray plasma high-tech ceramic case that holds a sunray green dial under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. This mostly ceramic timepiece achieves its gray color and matte/shiny metallic finish through a unique manufacturing process at ComaDur, which combines traditional pressing with advanced injection molding, then heats it at 1,450°C in a specially designed oven. The vivid dial has silver-tone dauphine hands with applied and faceted triangular indices as hour markers. Complementary features include Rado's rotating anchor above its logo, bordered date window, stainless steel case sides, and a signed crown at the 3 o'clock position. It is fitted with a high-tech plasma ceramic bracelet and secured by a signed folding clasp. Showcased underneath the exhibition caseback is the caliber R763, a Swiss automatic movement beating at 21,600 vibrations per hour, generating an impressive 80 hours of power reserve and is water-resistant up to 50 meters/165 feet.
