I'm so disappointed

These pants are awful. Let's start with the stiffness of the material. The reinforce knees and butt are fine but the stuff in between are just about the same weight and stiffness. Moving on, I was told by RMATV that they breath better than the legend. Not so, it's worse. With water a resistant coating and no mesh on the outside and four zippered vents makes it impossible for these to vent. On top of that they put a mesh liner inside presumably help it become less sweaty, which it may, yet it makes it really hard to put on, certainly not with boots or other pants underneath. RMATV also suggests that additional knee guards could be worn with these pants. I tried underneath and that was really hard to do because you can't get them on by pulling them and trying to put them on after your pants are on is also extremely difficult because the cuffs just aren't quite big enough. And putting them on the outside allows them to move around to much. And then there is no fly. Oh yeah there is a zipper there but it doesn't open to the inside. You have to pull your pants down to get it out, really stupid. I think MSR should do some customer product tests before letting the product to market. I wear 36 jeans and I got a size 40 and things were tight unless you go with just underwear. But if you do that it would have been nice to have some fleece or flannel around the belt inside to soften the stiff/abrasive material. I'm so disappointed.
