A Study in Restraint: From Hidaka XR to Hidaka FX

I bought the fixed-blade version of this knife because I already owned the folding version, the Hidaka XR. This knife has a refined, restrained beauty, and in my opinion, its blade design is more appealing than Kikuno Matsuda's earlier collaborations with SOG. His previous designs often felt somewhat exaggerated in terms of blade shape, but the Hidaka XR and Hidaka FX truly embody a sense of restraint.
