Worth the price of admission

My teenage years were in the 70's, so all I have to compare this remastered disc to is my old LP's from back in the day. My system is an Onkyo AVR and PolkAudio RTiA9 speakers driven by two Emotiva amps, a 200 and 300wpc amp. The source is an LGBD390 bluray player. With the combined headroom from the amps and the clarity of the speakers, any flaws in the recording is going to be evident when you spin a disc. Both the remastered CD's of Pink Floyd's "Animals" and "Wish You Were Here" are nothing short of fantastic. Musical detail and lyrical detail are all there, you miss nothing and become immersed in the music. With todays electronic technology and crystal clear audio tracks, I don't remember these recordings sounding this good. No hissing, no popping, nothing but incredible depth and detail. Next stop for me, "Dark side of The Moon". And the bonus? With the price Walmart is charging for Pink Floyd's remastered series, it's a no brainer must have. If you even just like Floyd a little, you'll love the remastered series.
