The Return of Daniel Boone (DVD), Sony, Western

Bill 'Wild Bill' Elliott plays Bill Boone, the grandson of Daniel Boone, who comes to the rescue of fair maiden (and renegade) Ellen Brandon, played by Betty Miles, who has shot and killed a tax collector in the employ of a crooked mayor. Mayor Ewell (Walter Soldering) is in the pocket of local thug Leach Kilgrain (Ray Bennett). Kilgrain's goal is to gain control of the local ranches through an unscrupulous tax scheme. Meanwhile, Bill's usual sidekick Cannonball (Dub Taylor) is less support than usual as he's busy attracting the attention of twin sisters Melinda and Matilda - but he thinks they're the same girl!
