Cuervo y Sobrinos Prominente Señora Caramelo Automatic Stainless Steel Green Dial Green Leather Strap Date Unisex Watch Model# 1015.1GR / 10151GR
A line of watches rich in character, Cuervo y Sobrinos' Prominente collection is named as such, after a term used to describe one of the largest Cuban cigars which possess elegant flavors, spicy qualities, and the same rich character. This unisex Señora "Caramelo", the spanish translation of "candy", embraces lively colors which pervade life on the Caribbean island. It features a 31 x 37 mm stainless steel rectangular case with curved profile that holds a vivid green dial under a matching curved sapphire crystal. It has silver-tone and luminescent alpha hands with radially-arranged applied indices and the brand's crest at the 12 o'clock position as hour markers. Complementing this dress watch are stepped case sides, vertical recessed stripes at dial's center, signed crown, 2 rectangular "chemins de fer" or railway track chapter rings, and a date aperture at the 6 o'clock position presented in the same dial shade. Fitted with a matching green genuine leather strap and secured by a buckle. The screw on exhibition caseback highlights the caliber CYS 5103, a Swiss automatic movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, generating 42 hours of power reserve and is water-resistant up to 30 meters/100 feet.

Established by a Spanish immigrant, Ramón Fernández Cuervo put up his first jewellery store in Havana, Cuba in 1862. This business served as the catalyst for the eventual Cuervo y Sobrinos by 1882 wherein the so-called "Sobrinos" or nephews joined Cuervo. Known for representing a unique and glamorous Latin lifestyle, its prodigious history was enriched by many significant milestones, dormancy and revival in 1997 by Luca Musumeci and Marzio Villa, signalling the dawn of a new era for the Cuban brand's Swiss horological roots. Taking a bold step into the future, Cuervo y Sobrinos also launched a line of premium cigars in 2023, inspired by its Cuban heritage and in line with the brand's DNA.
