Worked fine for me.
I used this to hold down the collars on my fishing shirts. Works great. They have been on for about 2 years now with a lot of wear and trips through the washer. Going to give it a try on cargo shorts pockets.

Works well if you have used iron-ons before
You need to use a really hot iron, and do it on a wooden board rather than an ironing board. The firmer the support you have when ironing, the better. I haven't noticed it get stronger with washing or I would give it 5 stars.
