I am only partially lactose intolerant and can have certain things without meds. However for the really good stuff like swiss cheese or brie I need help. I take 2 tablets when I start the meal and have no gas, bloating or hard stomach. The only way for me to enjoy these goodies:)

These chewable dairy pills taste good and work well. The only draw back is just getting them out of the packaging. When going out to eat its a little cumbersome opening the packets and the table but other than that there good. They actually work better than the dairy pill you have to swallow because they dissolve so quickly.

finally found the answer for my digestive problems and this chewable equate lactase tablet works for me. It's easy to take and easily carried in your bag or pocket ---and it prevents the issues that milk and other dairy cause me. With a "large" glass of milk I chew up three (with my first swallow) and forget it. No problems. with my bowl of cereal I chew up one tablet with my very first bite. This Equate lactase tablet is my favorite solution above all the others that I've tried.
