I have had issues with my quickly freezing hands for several years, probably Raynaud's. I enjoy x-c skiing and snowshoeing, and typically have used the disposable hand warmers. But I don't need them to be 'on' for 8 hours, and then throw them out. And there is no controls - to turn them on/off, up/down. I've also tried 'extreme' mittens, and mittens with electrical wire heating built in. Not so great. I just used these rechargeable hand warmers yesterday in the central Adirondacks on a snowshoe trip. Temps in the teens. As usual, my exposed hands got very cold right away at the trailhead, putting on my boots and snowshoes. But these hand warmers started working immediately, and my hands were good in a few minutes. They fit in your mittens; I used the convenient wrist straps to keep from losing them. I never turned them above 'medium' setting; this was plenty warm. Turned them off when not needed. Got cold at lunchtime; turned them back on again and hands were warm. Nice recharging double wire system, too. These hand warmers are very easy to use; very effective! Just buy them! They've solved my cold hands problem at last!
