I measured my horse when she had another lighter weight blanket on her, so my measurement wasn't quite accurate. This blanket is plenty big/long on her (ordered a 75", probably should've had a 72"). But by the time I tightened all the straps, it fits her snug, just hangs over her hind end/tail a little bit. Not a big deal. The front of the blanket has two buckles across the chest, but it also overlaps in this place and velcros underneath so it won't gap open and let air in. Coming up higher on the neck is a plus, as the cold winter winds won't be able to get under the blanket like traditional blankets. The 360* polyfil feels soft and lightweight, but heavy enough to provide warmth.
