Great but quickly show wear

I love these pants, but my big issue is that they quickly show fuzz from wear (and somehow catch on my undergarments), especially anywhere that there's even marginal rubbing. Also, I had pants of another brand that I'd worn for 900 miles of the Appalachian Trail that never showed snags, whereas these got snags and threads pulled in the first few days of wear.
