I took it out of the package and immediately noticed that not only was it so soft my cat decided he needed to snuggle with it, it is thicker so it has a heavier feeling. My daughter said it feels like a slightly weighted blanket. It feels like a warm hug when it is on you. Its not too heavy either. So far the material has held up to being used and has not shed or had any pilling. I honestly wish all my throw blankets were this quality!

It has the prettiest flowers on the front and a beautiful solid light purple on the backside so it's reversible. It's machine washable and can be used year round. It's a heavier throw as well so it's perfect for snuggle time and seems like it'll hold up longer than most blankets.
