Care Instructions: 

1. Seal or finish all sides of the panel within 24 hours of removing the protective wrap to prevent moisture absorption.  

2. For oil sealing, apply a generous, even coat of food-safe mineral oil or wood conditioner to all surfaces.  

3. If the surface feels rough or the grain raises after sealing, lightly sand with fine-grit sandpaper before applying another coat of oil.  

4. Regular maintenance is important—reapply mineral oil or conditioner as needed to maintain appearance and durability. Frequency may vary from every few weeks to a few months depending on usage.  

5. When properly finished, this surface is safe for food prep; however, we recommend using a cutting board or mat to preserve the countertop's appearance and lifespan.  

6. Always clean the surface before and after each use with a damp cloth, then dry thoroughly.  

7. Personalize the surface with your choice of stain color, and treat with food-safe mineral oil or lacquer. Over time, the countertop can be sanded and refinished to restore its beauty and maintain its value.
