Great Idea, Bad Quality

I really wanted to love this container as it was the perfect size I had been looking for, but it did not live up to ANY of my expectations. I tested it using plain hot water. It kept the temp pretty good. The temp dropped down about 4 to 5 degrees in 50 minutes which is ok as I usually don't take a pot of hot soup on vacations with us. I jostled the clamped-down lid container, simulating a car ride. The water practically poured out from the pressure release hole. There was no “O” ring, nor anything else to help control the valve. When I tilted it to about a 45 to 50 degree angle, the silicone gasket leaked. Water went everywhere. It's a great idea and concept, it just needs to be perfected and improved for practical use. I didn't test it using cold items. I have Igloo coolers and ice packs for that.
