WELMATE 5% Lidocaine Cream, Pain Management, Numbing Cream, 6oz

I wouldn't normally review an item the same day I received it but this cream is deserving of some recognition. First, I got this to use on my leg. I have severely macerated skin and lidocaine has become my best friend. I recently ran out of the prescription ointment I had and in desperation I ordered this product without reading anything beyond “contains 5% lidocaine.” The first inactive ingredient listed is alcohol, so I wouldn't have bought it had I known. I have a large area on my leg that is raw, exposed tissue. The last thing I want to put on it is alcohol, or so I thought. I used it immediately. I'd been using lidocaine ointment for over a month so I knew it would take a little while to kick in. I had been in excruciating pain for two days and the quickest way to apply this cream seemed too slow. I don't know how, I don't know why, and I certainly don't know what kind of voodoo was done over this cream, but my pain was gone before I had even finished applying it. There's no way it should work this quickly. No way. I'm almost afraid to talk about it because I don't want to jinx it. The pain of severe skin maceration is almost unbearable most of the time. On a good day my pain never drops below 5 or 6 on the pain scale. I haven't slept longer than two hours since before Halloween. Most days I can barely walk, even using a cane. And I haven't been able to leave my house for weeks. All of that is due to the pain. But after discovering this magical and mystical miracle cream, I think that will all change tomorrow. I can't recommend this cream enough. If it works this well for leg wounds, just imagine how well it works for its intended purpose (in your butt—well, maybe not in YOUR butt, but someone's.) For what I'm using it for, it truly is a miracle. I've dealt with this pain for a while. I wish I would've found this product sooner, but I'm really just thankful that I found it, period. Like I said, I bought it out of desperation because I was in dire need of numbing relief. OTC Lidocaine is expensive, but this product was a wee bit cheaper than others I found (but still expensive.) I'd like to see lower prices on products like this because $20 for a 5 1/2 oz jar of cream is a little steep. I already know the power this cream holds so regardless, I'll definitely be purchasing more as needed. Thank you for relieving this pain and making my days easier to manage .It took a while for me to find this little jar of gold, but at least I found it. I will be recommending this to everyone, whether they need it or not. LOL Also, it does not burn or sting. And I have exposed tissue and nerve endings, so if anyone is going to be set on fire after applying this, it would be me. Fortunately, this product relieves the pain instead of creating more.

It's a little pricey for what you get. I ordered the 5 oz bottle but got a 3.5 oz. That was surprising. It numb my lips but had trouble numbing my back %26 hands %26 feet. Still is better than any other one out there.
