Frame was easy to assemble, directions clear and easy to understand. I had a box spring and don't need it now ! My bed is a normal height with a 12 inch mattress. I'm a 63 yrs old female and I put it together by myself. Love how my mattress feels on this frame. I would recommend this frame. Very sturdy.
