Does not fit stock Pontiac 6X heads

Bought these for my 79 Trans am with a 1977 Pontiac 400 V8. My engine was apart when I bought the car and I was trusting the product description which reads 64 and later Pontiac V8s. No where close to correct. I gave it 3 stars because ARP makes great stuff, however their description of this product is misleading.
