Good Enough For The Money
This aerator is not what I would cosider "heavy duty" but it gets the job done. It was easy enough to assemble. The "U" shaped handle is nice but the connections on the handle, where the handle sections join, down to the spike assembly are a bit wobbly. This unit is good for light duty in small areas. My front yard is about 100' by 50' and I was able to roll over it a couple of times over a couple of days. You'll need a couple of large bricks or cinder blocks to ensure the blades get penetration into the soil. You'll probably need a couple of your own short bungee cords as the one provided was not sufficient. Larger wheels might make the chore a little easier but with a little effort this old man was able to get the job done without much difficulty. I suspect this unit will last only a few seasons because the handle is wobbly, the metal is thin, and the wheels are small.
