Love this cute little ditty...

I love this solar powered (and USB chargeable) bug zapper/light... I am allergic to bug bites, and I have two canaries, so I don't ever chance any bug that does so, for all our sakes. I love the gentle blue light and the option to utilize the white light. Solar or charged, this bargain (with a purpose) keeps the three of us safe from indoor pests; I use solar-powered bug zappers outdoors as well, but this one stays in the apartment, central to all the rooms. It is always on at night, when insects seek certain light. I have never had an indoor insect problem since incorporating these zappers into my home. The compact shape is such that it is bottom heavy, so it is safe/sturdy to set anywhere flat.

Wish I could have the bug zapper on earlier in the day, but it is light sensitive and only works when it is dark enough. (easy enough to solve by just covering the solar panels at the top) Charges well on solar. We haven't had rain yet so not sure how weatherproof it truly is, but I am not planning to leave it out uncovered, either. Good value for the money.

pros: solar and electric charging options and 2 different light options cons: didn't notice a significant decrease in bug activity but will take into consideration the fact that I'm not able to put it as far away from where we hang out as recommended .
