About Us
As an avid container gardener, I was frustrated with how damaging conventional saucers can be for potted plants. They fill up causing root rot, create a breeding ground for mosquitos, and overflow leaving a mess. We created the Drain Away Tray to make container gardening easier and cleaner. Now my customer and I can grow delicious container tomatoes, herbs, flowers, and other edibles without worrying about standing water, root rot, and other water-related problems.

How does it work?
- Measure the diameter of the bottom of your pot (this measurement is more important than the volume of your pot in gallons)
- Use the comparison chart below to determine the appropriate size Drain Away Tray
- Place your pot on the elevated center pedestal
- All debris will be caught by the drain tray eliminating staining on decks and patios and keeping your growing area neat and clean
- All runoff will flow down the slightly sloped gutter toward the spout preventing overflow and standing water
Product Features
ABS Plastic with UV Inhibitors
The Drain Tray is made of strong, durable ABS plastic with UV inhibitors for use both indoors and outdoors.
Elevated Center Pedestal
The Drain Tray features an elevated center pedestal to keep you pot above the mess. The textured surface prevents standing water eliminating root rot.
Threaded 3/4" Drain Spout
The Drain Tray spout is threaded to fit standard 3/4 inch PVC pipe fittings. When using a single tray indoors, thread a PVC cap on the end to catch runoff. When using multiple trays, chain them together with PVC elbows and tees. When chaining more than 4 trays together, we recommend bumping up to a 1 inch drain line to accommodate the increased flow.
Sloped Gutter
The Drain Tray has a gutter sloped toward the spout to ensure optimum drainage. Decorative rock or glass can be placed in the gutter to dress up the look without impeding water drainage.
