Obviously it's to early to really write a review on this since I just got it and planted it. That said the root is in great shape with some foliage. I'll revisit this review after the plant bears fruits.

boo berry root

off the bat, I could smell the fungus abundance... very sad. Base of stem/root is soft %26 squishy %26 the roots brown %26 fragile/falling apart- all typical of root rot. the substrate was extremely damp and compact- I doubt these products are currently being properly maintained as inventory. If they were, these roots would have been sleeping peacefully instead of choking on mold. I've actually enjoyed many other Expert Gardener dormant plant purchases in the past, but was very disappointed this time.
