Open the fill cap on the side of the mat. Lay flat for several minutes. Add cool water to the bed according to the user instructions. Knead the bed gently with your hands. Open air valve and knead again. Press on the bed with your hands, it should feel comfortably cool and spongy. Add or remove water or use the air valve as needed for optimal comfort
