Affordable and it works well.

We got four of these because the weather is pleasant enough to keep the house open but we had an issue with mosquitos. We put one on the balcony and another one on the patio and WOW, what a difference. Before we started burning these we'd hear the bug zapper going off repeatedly - and not every mosquito was going towards the light, my bites proved that. Now we're able to enjoy the fresh air and no more bites! The smell doesn't bother us since we aren't right on top of it and although they say cats don't like it our two cats still go out on the patio when it's burning and don't seem to mind. Remember mosquitoes can bite your pets too.

These candles are the only way I can sit outside on my patio at night to keep our blood hungry Mississippi mosquitoes away. They work pretty much immediately after lighting them.
