It's nice to be able to read again

Installed this in my side table lamp and now I can read again. I'm 77 and my sight isn't what it used to be. Installed in an old 3 way lamp and it sure brightens up the room.

short life

purchased for exterior protected lamp post. comes on dusk to dawn, approximately 12 hours a day, based on 25,000 hour life stated it should have lasted approximately 5.7 years, burned out in 5 months,
