Excellent for baking!

I recently decided to start baking cornbread in my iron frying pan. It was so easy to grease the pan by spreading melted butter in it and the Cranberry Cheddar Cornbread was wonderful. In less than an hour, it was ready to eat. Next, I purchased the wedge pan which made perfect wedges and I froze some for future use. I love the Lodge seasoned cast iron because they don't stick, are easy to maintain and the results from baking and cooking are perfect!

Love the crispy edges on cornbread, biscuits, brownies, hand pies etc. This cast-iron pan with the wedge compartments makes it easy to have single servings. I can make several batches and freeze the wedges, and they don't fall apart like the ones you would cook and cut. I've had no problems with sticking, and cleanup has been easy.
