(3 pack) Tulip One-Step Tie-Dye Kit, Psychedelic, Red, Yellow & Blue

Bought this kit to tie dye 2 shirts for Halloween. The shirts did not absorb the dye when trying to apply using the twisted technique. Had to use our hands to kind of push and rub the dye in. The dye was like water and just kept going everywhere except the shirts. Make sure you do this outside [even in the garage we made a mess]. Also, the gloves weren't very good and we now have some dyed fingers that we can't get the colour out of. Once we thought we were good, I took the shirts out of the wrap the next day and none of the colour had penetrated through... the centers of the shirts were still entirely white. Waste of $30.00 [the kit plus two $5.00 shirts from Walmart as well]. As you can see from the picture, the main parts of the shirts did not get dyed as the colour just simply wouldn't penetrate into the shirts [they both are slightly pink now from getting put in the wash on a rinse cycle to remove excess dye].
