(6 pack) Great Value Peanut Oil, Heart Healthy and Versatile, 1 Gallon Bottle

We use this oil in our fryer and never have any issues. I think it burns better than name brands. We used it for Thanksgiving to deep fry our turkey breasts and my sister used our fryer to do the same for Christmas and now she is buying a fryer and said she will only use WalMart Good Value Peanut Oil. It’s high quality for a great price point.

I love Great Value Peanut Oil. I absolutely do believe that is a superior to the brand name products and at a much better price. The only thing I was tentative on is their previous bottles, the one that's in the picture. I felt that they were a little bit too thin and always feared that it would spring a leak. With my most recent delivery I was very pleasantly surprised to see that it comes in a heavy-duty 1 gallon container with a handle on it instead of the thin plastic bottles that had the flimsy, IMO, handle up at the top. The oil does a perfect job of making things very crisp without residue or taste. I have started to use it in place of other oils for all purposes including salad dressings. You absolutely can't beat it for deep frying. The oil, when properly strained, can be reused once or twice. I've only reused it once but peanut oil is usually safe to use twice unless you've cooked fish in it, then it's once.
